FEATURED ARTIST
Every year, the Bank of America Chicago 13.1 works with a Chicago-based artist to create visuals supporting the event. The artist’s work is featured prominently in race materials and can include ad campaigns, medal design, commemorative pin design, the participant t-shirt and more.
2024 ARTIST: EDO
We’re excited to announce the artist for this year’s Bank of America Chicago 13.1! Edo is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from the South Side of Chicago. His artwork layers images within images in a style he calls Infinite Inception, using one piece to tell a multitude of stories and represent the power of community.
Edo’s art will be featured in the leadup to the event and throughout race weekend. Check out his Instagram and website to see his work.

For the inaugural Bank of America Chicago 13.1, we were honored to have local artist, Lefty Out There (Franco Campanella), leaving his mark on our event. Lefty’s work was born on Chicago’s walls but has gained recognition by large brands across the United States, Europe and Asia.
Lefty’s pattern resembles cell structures and organisms, and calls for the audience to pay attention to things that they take for granted, which is a natural connection to our event as we reimagine what it’s like to run in Chicago.
